Not only is this world-renowned pro skier, but as the daughter of a cinematographer, she’s inherited the eye and the know-how to capture the thrill of a fresh-tracks descent.
We were so fortunate to have Amie lead ski sessions at Winterlust—and hop on her mat for our mountaintop yoga and meditation classes. As a lifelong Tahoe resident, she’s a yogi who has been to our Wanderlust Festivals many times, so it was a natural fit for her to combine her mindfulness practices with leading alpine pursuits.

Winterlust Taos 2022- Day One
Day 1 of @winterlustfest in @skitaos was positively lovely! Skiing under sunny skies, yoga amongst amazing souls, a hot tub aprés party and a splash of @kjwines! What else could girl ask for… well the retro silent disco skate party later is going to be the cherry on top! Can’t wait for more! @wanderlustfest

The magic continued on day two of @winterlustfest@skitaos. Sunrise tracks, yoga w/ @ginaontheloose and more runs, all capped off with a beautiful slope-side dinner by @matthewdeliso and @kjwines… just when I thought It couldn’t get any better, we were serenaded by @garthstevenson fireside under the night sky… @winterlustfest you are stealing my heart!

Amie Engerbretson is a professional skier and lover of mountains, cats and smiles. The seed of passion for skiing and adventure was planted on the slopes of Palisades Tahoe and has grown into a lifestyle and career that has taken her around the globe, being featured in many ski media outlets and sharing her passions with the world. Hard work and a strong spirit combined with her commitment to her craft have enabled Amie to pursue her dreams, while keeping her in the fast lane, with a permanent smile on her face.
